I was working on Indian-Radio.com, a new site to bring all online desi radio channels to one place.
I placed google adsense in the site and was little bit shocked to see a warez ad saying “free music and video downloads”. I am sure you never saw these before!
just wondering if google started taking these warez ads recently!
Being a search gaint, its intresting to see that Yahoo also earns via Google adsense.
Flickr, which was acquired by yahoo in march this year, is now under Yahoo’s management and I wonder if Yahoo knows that flicks still gets some revenue from google adsense.
Things like this will let us know the power of adsense.
Even Google’s rivals use it to make some money?

The first pic shows you flickr displaying google adsense and the second one shows you the same page with yahoo ads. Flickr actually displays both google ads and yahoo ads in random, so everytime you browse flickr you may not see google ads all the time. But, if you use flickr regularly, you might be seeing this.
Now do you agree with me if I say that even the big guns make money via google? still thinking about it?

As the talk spreads about the new google desktop search. Webmasters and site owners are happy about the one cool plugin around. Well, what will the be happy about? That is obviously related to money and only money. There was a firefox extension for the same purpose, but some how if didnt work properly and people were looking for something more handy. This is in continuation with my previous post about eCPM. It is calculated by total earnings divided by the number of page impressions and then multiplied by 1000.
If your earnings is $50 and you have 11270 impressions.
$50/11270 = 0.00443655……
again 0.00443655……x1000 = 4.43

Today I was asked about what eCPM really means by my friend.
Just thought to post it for others 
eCPM is nothing but Effective CPM which is the effective cost per 1000 impressions generated by a cost-per-click ad. eCPM is determined by multiplying a number of factors, including the ad’s cost per click (CPC) and its clickthrough rate (CTR). The resulting eCPM can be used to rank CPC ad campaigns against CPM campaigns.
I hope you understood what eCPM means.
