The missing feature “from address” is now added to the gmail beta.
The beta version is already a BIG hit for google and with a 2GB storage and the fastest loading APIs makes it the best for many users.

One excellent email service. But, there is still a long way for them to go.
I still feel many features still need to be added, esp. the Forward as Attachment
